| perhaps I am doing something wrong? I originally prepared the hard drive using Slayer's 2.0 (didn't try to lock it at that time). I recently decided to update it to Slayer's 2.1. I copied all the info off the HD, used new install option on Slayer's menu, rather than upgrading, and copied games, etc. back on HD. Everything works fine. I tried using Config Magic to lock the HD, but no luck. I tried using HDLOCK.EXE, but got a single minus sign under the S, which supposedly indicates not an ATA66 or better HD, etc. |
