| Do not use this drive!! I had issues with installing (AID error: unable to unzip files) and copying files per FTP, DVD, SMB. Also DVD reading issues accours periodically. There was many many corrupted files, files was after copy bigger than original file. The drive works fine in a PC with as Win7 boot drive with Data of ~180GB full. Partition: F: (~230GB) formatted with 16K cluster with xbpartitionier and formated again with AID (Format Large HDD) ATA/IDE Adapter: Digitus DS-33151 (http://www.amazon.de/Digitus-DS-33151-SATA-auf-Adapter/dp/B001E3LC2M), jumper not set, fits well in Xbox. Same problem with WD1000FYPS (1TB). Seems that the "RAID" Edition drives from WD will not work. Following HDDs works fine in same Xbox with same SATA/IDE adapter and same install/copy method: WD10EAVS (1TB), ST3250823AS (250GB) and ST3500641NS (500GB) |
