| I softmodded my version 1.6 Xbox and upgraded from a 8 GB hard drive to 500 GB hard drive. Parts used include: (1) Seagate Barracuda HDD ST500DM002 500GB (2) Manhattan 40-Pin 80-Wire Ultra ATA 2-Drive Ribbon Cable (3) StarTech 2.5/3.5in IDE to SATA Adapter Converter Encountered issues during boot due to the Samsung SDG-605F not playing well with the IDE to SATA Adapter, resulting in a non-functional state... Until I try to open then close the DVD drive, wait five seconds, and then the console boots normally. |
