| Used it on my first time upgrading the hdd. It is a 2.5 inch drive and uses a Sata 1 connection. When working with the drive on your pc, get a sata to usb because the drive can freeze if connected directly to motherboard's sata. Remember that 2.5 inch drives use 5V so a sata to usb is possible but those cannot be used with 3.5 drives unless you are giving power to the hdd another way.
