| Do not use this drive!! I had issues with installing (AID error: unable to unzip files) and copying files per FTP, DVD, SMB. Also DVD reading issues accours periodically. There was many many corrupted files, files was after copy bigger than original file and curious HDD noise when copy error occours (hurts in the ears). The drive works fine in a PC with Win7 and Data of ~900GB (Homemade Videos). Partition: F: (~460GB) and G: (~460GB) both formatted with 32K cluster with xbpartitionier and formated again with AID (Format Large HDD) ATA/IDE Adapter: Digitus DS-33151 (http://www.amazon.de/Digitus-DS-33151-SATA-auf-Adapter/dp/B001E3LC2M); Jumper not connected. Fits well in Xbox. Same problem with WD2500YD. Seems that the "RAID" Edition drives from WD will not work. Following HDDs works fine in same Xbox with same SATA/IDE adapter and same install/copy method: WD10EAVS (1TB), ST3250823AS (250GB) and ST3500641NS (500GB) |
