| Change PC's BIOS settings to unlock. At first mine didn't lock, and FROZE! bad luck for me. I had to turn off HD auto-detect and other functions in my BIOS until my PC couldn't recognize the HD! (no IDE master found! press f1 to resume) thus enabling me to lock and unlock. use caution in the BIOS. I have an ASUS p5vdc-mx motherboard with a different type of BIOS menu, and had to make atapi incompatible and changed 'auto' to 'other' before i could lock. It is probably a simple, quick procedure if you know what you're doing. The only differences i could see after locking in PRINTING XBOX INFO is security frozen changed to 'no' and security enabled changed to 'yes'. It IS possible to un/lock these HD's. Even i could do it! i only wish i could get rid of unleashx on my soft mod and have xbmc as my main dashboard... :( |
