Well I tried the OCZ Agility 3 SSD in my media center which is based aruond an Intel socket 775 with an E2200. What can I say? Even though Windows only rates it a 6.9 on that system and it's on a SATA 2 interface the speed is as fast as I had expected it to be on my Phenom II x4 rig. Nearly 250 mb/sec read and write speeds on most block sizes and still reading a whopping 100 mb/second on 4kb blocks where it was only 40 on the other machine. (Samsung Spinpoint HDD was 60mb/sec at 4kb).The bios doesn't have AHCI setting so I just left it on the default enhanced SATA setup.Apparently Intel based boards allow for the drives TRIM setup which often AMD based boards don't, this is needed to get super speeds.Kept the old 40gig IDE HDD in that machine also as it had a few music and picture files and is useful for running a page file. |

I am very displeased with the regulation of the insurance Quotes Chimp in our state. It seems to me that the money and power of the insurance industry gives them disproportionate power in the halls of legislature and before the state insurance department. |
