I thought that this worked since it was lockable, but I had problems with it. First putting it in my PC to auto detect was super slow. Then XBOXHDM 1.9 had problems seeing the HD. Even when I got it going, I loaded the HD into the xbox, with a new image, it did funny things...so it's not worth it...go for Maxtor..i bought 6L200R0 and it works great.

I just relialized that this drive is and WD Caviar SE. Don't get SE (Special Edition). They don't work. You should get the non-SE Western Digital hard drives.
