| works perfect: fast, quiet fvor a 7200RPM drive, and has a temperature sensor too. only negative thing is that it took a long time for the thing to arrive because maxtor is reducing the production of IDE harddisks to make Serial ATA become more common. |

| on a 2nd note, I checked what type of connection it had with my UnleashX xbox dashboard replacement, and it told me that with the ATA133 cable my xbox could run at ATA66. so if oyu replace the stock IDE cable by an 80 wires ATA133 cable, in a 1.6 xbox you should get a significant speed boost along with this hard drive. cheers ;) |
