Worked like a charm. The HDD itself is a little noisy on start up of the xbox.

Ok, thank you for your reply. I see how the buffer is used in flash. I am aallcuty not a flash programmer, but a .NET and C++ programmer. I was converting your code examples into .NET. I also worded my question wrong but glad I did because I learned something new about the visualizer. As for the last part of your response, if you know the sample rate, bpm, and current position in milliseconds you can determine teh current not in a sequence , That is were I am confused. Any help would be great. I am new to audio programming so haven't a clue where to start.Cheers,Adam
