| Had no problems partitioning to FATX and locking the drive. It was purchased as a refurbished drive, but there is surprisingly little documentation on the web for the WD2500LB model. From what I gathered, if you have one of these drives, then it is likely that it was pulled from a TiVo. | |||||||

| i have this same model hard drive... mine came from a "Galaxy" external hard drive. It was easy to format to FATX and to lock. | |
