Used Configmagic,HDLock,and UnlockX,all report the same thing....Drive does not support locking. This appears to be related to Special Edition drives with 8MB cache since I have not yet run across a WD drive with 2MB cache that wouldn't lock.The SE's seem to be hit or miss as to whether they will lock.So stay away from the WD's with "JB" in the model number.

did you use xboxhdm1.9? install ms dash on the C on xhdm and the eeprom.bin on the EEPROM folder and then when u run the xhdm type lockhd -a theirs a space then a dash then a right next to the dash . so run disc " xboxhd" enter 1) build new hd << this is for ms dash then reboot once its done " xboxhd" enter 3) locking / unlocking lockhd -a and y to confirm or yes try one if you get aborrt try going back and put the other yes

"Resources" being our college/univ staff, research libraries (or at least the "stuff" accessible online that used to be available only in the library), state-of-the art equipment, etc. Just as we exploit immigrants at the bottom level of unskilled labor, we are also becoming addicted to upper level immigrant labor that will often accept salaries that are less than their US-born counterparts. The decision whether or not to return to the home ctrnouy is also a two-way problem. Many Indians do choose to return, I believe, and they can live far more comfortably there than here (expanding India's middle class) but I read an interesting article by a Malaysian gov't rep. which pointed out that their students who so often remain in the US create problems for the home ctrnouy that can't entice international investment because the necessary labor force isn't there.
