| NOTE: You will not get full use of the 3TB but you will have more space available than if you installed a 2TB (at this point 3TB drive aren't much more expensive than 2TB drives). This is just the way the disk space is used by the XBOX. 80-wire cable with cheap ebay IDE to SATA adapter (2 capacitor style). Initially installed with Chimp from Rocky5's 1.1.8 build but ended up only have ~800gb available for the F and G partitions (~370gb each) even if I selected just F it would still only format ~800gb to it. Created new hard drive from scratch using XBOXHDM23USB and it gave me a 2+TB F partition (~2.1tb). Even after creating the drive from scratch I attempted to partition with Chimp again (just incase it was' something with the cloning process) and had the same results, So I recreated the HDD again with no issues. |
