As someone else already mentioned, if you plan on having a partition larger than 500GB, you MUST use XBpartitioner to format the partition with 32k clusters. If you don't, it will work great until you use up around 256GB and suddenly it will stop accepting more files.
From the ftp in my X3, it will say it is making the folders, but it actually doesn't. Once you format with 32k clusters, it works perfectly.... Just format the drive as you would any other new drive, run XBpartitioner, and reformat the F: with 32k clusters....

The drive you mentioned is a SATA drive. What did you use to connect it to the XBOX?
