Disclaimer: Halo 2 will lock up at start screen before player log in with Ethernet cable attached (for system link gaming), I know this is the error with the drive because I removed Ethernet cable and runs fine for split screen multiplayer. Also restarted the machine with original seagate hard drive and got no error with the player log in menu while having the Ethernet cable attached. Not sure if it is the buffer size or what could cause this. Makes no sense to me that this is the only game with a problem related to the hard drive. It happens when the game is loading for the first time with no saves and when it is run off of the disc or hard drive. I was very thorough in troubleshooting this error.
